Former Swindon Town defender Paul Bodin, fellow defensive lynch pin Phil King and foreword contributor David Hockaday will join David Wallis for the launch of his new book Swindon Town: The Lou Macari Years on 7th April.

The evening is an all-ticket event beginning at 6.15pm, with registration possible at the Waterstones website.

David explained, "I first watched Swindon Town in the 1960s and lived through the five-year period when player/manager Lou Macari led the club from the depths of Division Four to the brink of the First.

"The telling of the story has been long coming, and with Lou’s contribution I hope I have done justice to the hugely exciting, and sometimes tumultuous, events of the late 1980s at the County Ground."

"The evening promises to be a fantastic occasion. I’m excited and honoured that Paul and David have agreed to be present. I’m sure that anyone with a love for Swindon Town and who can remember the unprecedented success achieved under Lou Macari will enjoy meeting and chatting to the stars of the day who were responsible for such unforgettable memories."
