SCRUM QUEENS NOMINATED FOR TOP AWARD

Ali Donnelly’s book Scrum Queens: The Story of Women’s Rugby has been shortlisted for the 2023 Lord Aberdare Literary Prize, awarded by the British Society of Sport History. 

The Lord Aberdare prize is awarded annually for the best monograph in sport history by a British author or dealing with a British topic.

The winner will be announced at the Society’s annual conference on 25th and 26th August.

Malcolm MacLean, of the judging panel, said, "Congratulations on being shortlisted; the pool this year was very strong and the judges were really impressed by your work."
