Description

We Made Them Angry is the story of Scotland's journey to and participation in the 1982 World Cup in Spain. It was their third World Cup in a row, but after a successful qualifying campaign, the Scottish team would face a ticketing disaster, a group draw fiasco, a threatened boycott of the tournament and their greatest adversary - themselves.

About the author

Tom has written for Nutmeg magazine as well as football websites The Football Pink, In Bed With Maradona and Beyond the Last Man. He has also written sketches for Radio Scotland and has had scripts optioned by The Comedy Unit. Tom is also a playwright, regularly producing work to be staged at the Centre for Contemporary Arts during the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.
