Description

How to Run a Football Club is the story of our national game. Told through a journey up the pyramid, from the muddy pitches and ramshackle changing rooms at grass-roots level to the glitz and glamour of the Premier League, the book explores that common theme that links the game at all levels - the simple love of the sport.

About the author

Jim Keoghan is the author of three other books, namely Punk Football: The Rise of Fan Ownership in English Football; Highs, Lows and Bakayokos: Everton in the 90s; and Everton Greatest Games. He is also a junior football coach, having spent the past few years realising that becoming the next Pep Guardiola is far harder than it looks.
