About the author

Steve Phelps is the author of Coventry City On This Day, January and the Season's Over and It'll Be Different Next Year. One of Steve’s first Sky Blue memories is seeing Clive Allen's 'goal' bouncing out of Jim Blyth's net and the referee waving play on. He lived in Coventry until the close season of 1996 when he transferred to the West Country along with his season ticket.
